The Fine-Tuned Universe – A New Cosmology

29 - 31 October 2025

Andreas Burkert, Stephan Paul

This event marks the culmination of a two-year interdisciplinary research initiative, the CAS Research Focus “New Cosmology,” exploring the concept of a “fine-tuned Universe.” Researchers from (Astro) physics, philosophy, theology, and ethnology have come together to examine how recent scientific discoveries intersect with older conceptions of a “well-formed” order of the cosmos.

This workshop is organized in cooperation with the Center of Advanced Studies at the LMU. Contact Person: Dr. Lena Bouman, lena.bouman(at)cas.lmu.de
